Heritage Park

So, this is a large sneak peek…because I couldnt’ narrow it down and also because, truth be told, this is my cousin’s family and if I don’t show lots, I’ll hear it from my biggest fan. And, if you don’t know who that is, then you don’t read my blog enough(think about who is your biggest fan). We had a session at Heritage Park yesterday…I think it wasn’t tooooooo painful. And the results are super sweet–I mean look at those blue eyes? How can these kids be related to me and my dark eyed kids? Crazy…but if you see the oldest and my oldest together it’s like looking at picture of my dad and his twin sister(their grandmother)…somehow it all makes sense.
Note to self–when I say things like ‘I’m going to shoot my cousin’s family’ out loud I should make sure that only people who know me are in earshot.
Seriously, blue eyes and pink sparkly lip gloss–her dad is in huge trouble in 10 years!!!

This shot to me is what that age is all about…

Don’t even get me started about this one!!! Dad is going to be investing in some heavy arsenal to ward off the young men…

This image is just plain dreamy…

And, mom and dad…inside ‘the dream’…living the dream…that’s for sure
What a fun morning…
Friday’s Favorites…

One of my favorite things is Georgia’s newfound imagination…I’ve been waiting for it to appear. Then, the other day, Georgia asked me to get dressed up. It was brief, but wonderful. She danced as if no one was watching…loved every second of it

And, I didn’t forget about my Friday’s favorites…today Holly Netto an Aussie wedding photographer I had the pleasure of meeting here in Calgary recently. If her daughter isn’t the cutest little thing as well–I just wanted to take her home with me!
Stay tuned for tonnes o’ images as I am booked booked booked…with a variety of stuff, too…should be a fun couple of weeks!
A Little Bit of Calgary…

A really wise friend of mine(I don’t want to name drop or anything so let’s just say that he really ‘rocks’) told me that if you ever see something and think it would make a great image to take it. Take it!!!! That, and he also encourages everyone to step out of their comfort zone from time to time. With that in mind, I have embraced the notion that I should just shoot things that appealled to me whenever I had the opportunity. Sooooo, last night this scene seemed almost set up and I couldn’t resist the opportunity to snap an image. This is for you, Jesh…well, it’s really for me
Initially, I was really drawn to the matching sign and crate, so I’ll show the color version even though I prefer the black and white. Thanks for popping in! I hope to post more images like this…I’ll call them ‘random images’…ooohhh, I should add–thanks Chuck for letting me capture you on your break! And, for taking us in the cool building
